The AMT Man-In-Space kit is a nice representation of manned space flight from Mercury through Apollo, but it's detail and accuracy leaves something to be desired. The escape towers on the Mercury capsules lack detail due to their small size and the Gemini capsule is just all wrong and doesn't fit on the Titan rocket properly. Through the advent of 3d printing we have been able to produce highly detailed replacement capsules. Compare the kit parts to our parts in the pics below.

Furthermore, the Apollo Service Module in the kit is of the type Block I, which never flew a manned mission. The service modules in this upgrade are the correct Block II style for manned missions.

Also note, the material these are printed in is very brittle and care should be taken with handling so as not to break fragile parts.
