Like many cars in the 50’s and 60’s, the gold markings were translucent gold leaf over brushed aluminum bodywork. This revealed the brush patterns on the aluminum underneath and resulted in a scalloped textured effect on the markings. Our decals recreate this scalloped pattern using a faux-metallic printing effect as can be seen in the picture above..
