Parnelli Jones came to Indy in 1961 and quickly showed he'd be a force to be reckoned with. In 1962 he doubled down and shocked the racing world with the first ever 150mph laps at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. To commemorate the occasion, Phil Hedback of Bryant Heating and Cooling poured 150 silver dollars into Jones Helmet. Jones would go on to dominate the race, leading 120 laps, before dropping back to a 7th place finish.

1/25 Scale. Designed around the AMT/MPC Watson kit. This sheet accurately replicates the “scalloped” effect on the silver numbers that was so common in the 50’s and 60’s.

We are now offering an optional pre-printed masking template to help facilitate your painting of this car. For this sheet the template includes a representation of the red stripes printed on masking film. Just trim the film to the image and mask your model accordingly for a masking job that will match our decals.
