only check Indycals

For the third year in a row it looked like a rookie might win the Indianapolis 500. Tomas Scheckter started 10th and pretty much lead at will, at one point holding an 8 second lead. He led a race high 85 laps, but crashed in turn four while leading with 28 laps to go. Team owner Eddie Cheever would finish fourth, while Max Papis finished 23rd, four laps down. Later in the season Scheckter would win the 400 mile race at Michigan International Speedway
