The Gérard Ducarouge JS11 looked like a world champion early in the 1979 season. It saw victory in three of the first five races with Jacques Laffite winning the first two races in Argentina and Brazil (with Patrick Depailler taking second in the later) and Depailler taking the Spanish Grand Prix. Laffite would finish on the podium in 7 of the 8 races he finished, but 8 DNFs relegated him to fourth in the drivers standings. Depailler scored consistent top 5 finishes through the first 7 races with only 2 DNF's but his season ended early when he was injured in a hang-gliding accident.

These replacement Decals for the Tamiya Ligier JS11 are a vast improvement over the translucent, yellowed kit decals - the white on this sheet is brighter and more opaque than Tamiya's original sheet. We now offer two options - one with all the white markings, and one with just red pinstripes for the nose, cowling and fuel tank for those who prefer to paint the white areas. Specify Laffite or Depailler/Ickx when ordering. Photo depicts car with white painted on the nose, cowling and fuel tank.

NOW AVAILABLE IN 1/12 SCALE for use with the Heller kit. The 1/12 scale sheet is redesigned to fit the Heller kit. Thise sheet does not iclude the solid white areas depicted on the sheet above, you must paint the solid white areas on the car to use this sheet. Click here to see an image of the 1/12 set.
