The BT46B Fan Car

Possibly the most controversial car in F1 history, the Brabham team placed a massive fan on the back of their BT46 chassis to literally suck the car to the ground - this was in response to the revolutionary Lotus 79 that used full ground effects to generate massive amounts of downforce. The fan car raced once - at Sweden - where it won in the hands of Niki Lauda amidst driver complaints the fan sucked debris off the track and shot it out at the trailing cars.

Designed to replace the kit decals in the 1/20 scale Fujimi kit. The blue on the kit decals is too light and turns purple when applied to the red car. These decals are more accurate in color and will not change color when applied to the car. Decals are marked to match the placement instructions that come with the Fujimi kit. Select decals for either Niki Lauda or John Watson.
