In 1976 Renault set it sights on winning the 24 hours of LeMans as a precursor to entering Formula one with thier turbocharged V6 engine. The Alpine A442 only lasted 135 laps in 1976. In 1977 a Mirage powered by the Renault V6 finished second. Finally in 1978 everything came together and Renault got their LeMans victory.

Designed for the Tamiya Renault Alpine A442B 1/24 scale motorized kit. Our decals are a brighter white than the yellow-ish Tamiya decals and we corrected some fit issues inherent in the Tamiya decals, as well as offering options for cars 1 and 3 that are not part of the Tamiya decals.
